HOW TRAVELING FUELS CREATIVITY AND IGNITES THE SOUL
As someone who adores travel (yes, even to the point of appreciating airline food!), I don’t need much convincing that travel is good for the soul but it is lovely to know that it also helps fuel creativity! Wait, does that mean it’s a tax deduction?

THIS ARTIST TURNS R-RATED CHARACTERS INTO KID-FRIENDLY BOOK COVERS
Joey Spiotto, an L.A.-based artist, likes nothing more than taking pop culture characters who are not wholly suitable for children, and turning them into cheery children’s book-esque images.

As he tells Fatherly.com, “I’ve always been drawn to this idea of how do you make something that’s not kid-friendly totally kid-friendly. And I like that juxtaposition. Pulp Fiction is clearly not for children, but it’s funny if you can make it for children, but how do you do that? That’s a fun challenge.”

HARVARD STUDY REVEALS JUST HOW MUCH DAMAGE INSTANT NOODLES DO TO YOUR BODY
We're all busy individuals and sometimes it's hard to find the time to cook ourselves something truly nourishing. In times of both haste and poverty, no doubt we've all at one point turned to the wonder that is instant noodles to sustain us - and suspected it probably wasn't hugely beneficial to our health. Well, the bad news is? It's official: the science is in, and instant noodles are most definitely  damaging your body... to the point of increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke! Oh boy. As soon as this pack of Mi Goreng is finished, I'm DONE with instant noodles and their delicious, fast, oil slick-y ways. Mmm..

I WORKED AT FYRE FESTIVAL. IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE A DISASTER.
And finally, by now you’ve no doubt heard about Fyre Festival, the appallingly organised “luxury” music festival led by rapper Ja Rule and held on an island in the Bahamas that descended into some next level awfulness over the weekend. Well, for further insight into how organisers could have gotten it so, so wrong we recommend you check out this insider’s account of the four terrible days she worked on the festival before quitting. It ain’t pretty. On the upside? Seth Rogen & The Lonely Island are apparently working on a film as we speak about a very similar scenario so hopefully this organisational disaster will at least help inspire a decent comedic film.
